Our trip was most enjoyable except when we provided assistance to the Coast Guard looking for a downed pilot or what was thought to be part of the wreckage....turned out to be a large piece of orange construction fencing. Trip info: Marina to Marina..31.35 hrs....189 kt mi...avg speed 5.9 kts...full moon... winds 8 to 15 kts North to Northeast...seas 2ft...cool during the daylight....cold after dark
