dead man's chest is about the men dropped off at dead mans cay in the british virgin islands-off peter island....there is much of interest in this--one half of the island is verdant and lush. the other half is desolate and rough with a rude mountain cutting the place in half. had the men , who were set off with a bottle of rum and a rowboat, after their mutiny----gone to the other side if the island--not even a football field away from where they were, their starving and despairing selves would have thrived and flourished..LOL...
one is able to see both halves of the island(deadman's cay) from altitude on a hike up the hill on peter island and is awesome to think that some guys left there would be so lazy that they wouldnt explore to see if mebbe they werent gonna just die. lol..people are so funny.
