Hi Derek,
I am soon to be retired after 38 1/2 years. I got drafted in 71, entered basic at FT Ord in 72. Been to Iraq twice,Mosul region, and Afghaniatan once, was pretty much from end to the other there. My body is shot, my mind is burnt out, I am definately ready for setting the clock to Island Time. Maybe we will get a chance to hook up on my way down. Leaving around 9 Oct down the ICW, I have 30 days leave to get to southern florida. I'll plan on spending a night there on the way down. Jeff

Hello Derek . Your work is wonderful. It's an inspiration.
I've done a bit of water colour over the years and have enjoyed it very much.

Hello Derek, Just had a quick look at some of your paintings. Brilliant! I am new to watercolour. Decided to give it a go after about a 30yr. layoff from oil painting. Bit tricky, but fun.

Hi Derek,
Lovely paintings. Good luck with them. Unfortunately I will need miniatures to fit on my boat. I am currently trying to decorate with my own small photographs. (very little bulkhead space.) I have been trying to convert my books to CD's or some electronic book reader. Electronic picture frames might work, but I have very little power on my boat. But, thanks for contacting me. Do you get out to sea?

Marvin
