Any suggestions for a ~4kVa generator ?

For my 2008 B 43. Where to install, which brand etc without altering the layout. The starboard aft has a nice place but not sure if it will fit the opening. Many thanks.

I spent a considerable amount of time looking for a replacement generator for my Vagabond-47 this past year. I looked at the "nextgen" that you refer to and several others. I settled on and purchased the Westerbeke 4kw generator, being a 3 cylinder it runs at a slower speed and I am expecting improved reliability. several folks in our harbor have the nextgen  and have had problems.

B43 wheel leather

Does anyone know what the actual color of the wheel covering is? Mine needs a little T&C, some leather dye, not sure if its dark red or something else? Want to match it first try.ThanksSee More

"James, we use saltwater when offshore. Otherwise we use a freshwater flush. The design is such that whatever is in the line sits between the top of the holding tank and the joker valve. Over time, stuff builds up. Amazed at what a human can produce!…"
