- Own a 1970 Westerly Cirrus that I keep on western Lake Erie, and a 1966 McVay Falcon 16' used for smaller lakes near my home in southeastern Michigan.

- Lake Erie, Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and smaller lakes throughout Michigan and Ohio. Sailed the Gulf from Lake Charles to Sarasota aboard a friend's boat. Used to crew for club races, but I really prefer the spontaneity of cruising.

- I greatly enjoy meeting other sailors and sharing knowledge and good times. I enjoy working on my boats (hardly seems like real work), and learning more about sailing, sailcraft, history and traditions. I singlehand a lot. Crew slot available!

- Hi, At least you're getting boat stuff done. Here alot of times it just so darn cold. Rain coming today and for the next 3 days I think. Weekend looking good, so far..will take boat across the cove to new place on sat. All workers my current marina were a buzz on hearing Twizzled not staying. Oh well. We had a nice sail with an omygeezus moment thrown in for good measure. You know sailing..always an adventure

1.) adjusting latchhead to proper position then;
2.) tightening backing nut.
Have not had to do this with middle seat but there is a backing nut on latch. You have to be a contortionist…"
