Posted on April 18, 2009 at 11:32am 2 Comments

Lake Erie Pirates stole the Toledo Lighthouse boat lift, dock and ramp apparently for scrap aluminum – they must be caught and brought to justice. Last Thursday, April 9th, the dock and ramp were seen in good order. Saturday the dock, ramp and lift were gone. Hi, At least you're getting boat stuff done. Here alot of times it just so darn cold. Rain coming today and for the next 3 days I think. Weekend looking good, so far..will take boat across the cove to new place on sat. All workers my current marina were a buzz on hearing Twizzled not staying. Oh well. We had a nice sail with an omygeezus moment thrown in for good measure. You know sailing..always an adventure

Love the looks of that Westerly! A mother's-in-law cabin..too funny, but I can see it would be great for an unruly sailors whilst on a long passage.

Oceanis 40 Sprayhood

My experience is that the original sprayhood is too high for proper visibility from the rudderposts. Has anyone tried to modify the design? Would be grateful for any advice or opinion.See More
