Last weekend here was the Newport Folk Festival and I got to see Pete Seegart (of Peter Paul & Mary), Judy Collins and Joan Biaez! What a great treat all while sitting in Quietly's cockpit anchored just off the stage. What a weekend!!!

Hi Bill, You're a guy in the "know" about such things. Suky interested in a Pearson 323 (in the Dominican Republic), you know anyone with one? She'd like to sail one, between here and Chesapeake Bay. Any sites she should be looking at for info on one? Thanks, Terri

Cptn. Bill,
What did you think of Marrero's Mansion? I've checked it out on the internet and it looks like a nice place to stay. Last time in Key West we stayed at the Key Lime Inn.

Hi Bill, hope you and Andrea had a great Thanksgiving. How's the weather up there? (grin). Did you sell your boat or did you decide to keep it?

Kitchen cabinet pegs loose!

We have a beneteau 40 2009, in the kitchen cupboard there are pegs in one cupboard to organize dishes and plates etc.Strangely the pegs are very loose, don't fit the holes well so don't really stay put to keep the dishes in place. Can other owners say if their pegs are also very loose? Are they meant to be glued/sikaflexed in place? What other solutions have been tried to get them to stay put?…See More

Bow thruster goes off

I am experiencing a problem with my bow thruster on my Beneteau 43. There was a post earlier on with the same title posted by Frank but there is not the way it had been sorted. I have noticed that my bowthruster works ok on idle but then as I increase the revs the indicator lamp in the button of the control unit starts flicking and then it switches off. I have fitted brand new batteries and had a couple of attempts by technicians to fix this at quite an expense without positive results. I am…See More
