"B43 #19 has had similar issues but easily resolved by;
1.) adjusting latchhead to proper position then;
2.) tightening backing nut.
Have not had to do this with middle seat but there is a backing nut on latch. You have to be a contortionist…"

New to the site, just sailed the Port Canaveral Mermaid Ocean Regatta, what a blast! We sail a Lindenbergh 28. Marlene and I sailed FASTLANE back to Melbourne, a close hauled reach the whole way. Helming was great.

I checked and the Beneteau 43 is a Oceanis series boat in the US. The B43 on Beneteau site is the Beneteau 43 Oceanis series boat. Give them a call for further confirmation. I think the first year is 2008 and last year is 2011 for B43.
