<p>On my 43 the VIN is on one of the hull floors (transverse ribs under the floor boards) adjacent to the stove.</p>
<p>The are moulded into the gelcoat.</p>

<p>this may not be useful to you but when i bought my 40 back in 2016 the surveyor noted no VIN on my hull. His exact words to me were " only the manufacturer and the Coast Guard know that alternate location". With this being said, the broker whom was a Beneteau dealer and had sold that boat to the first owner and had all the original paperwork, he contacted Beneteau in Marion about it and they cut a stencil of the VIN. They also sent him a sand blaster to use to engrave my hull.…</p>
