Was building a 32' tahitiana but project went belly up. I made the following sails for her and they have never been hoisted.
You can see the posting on the Duluth MN Craigs list. If you would like more info please let me know. There are beautiful, blue-water sails. Here are the basics:
They are constructed with:
• Contender Supercruise and Contender Supercruise High Aspect Modulus
• Triple and quadruple stitched.
• All sails have a leech line control
• Batten pockets and reef patches are hemmed and lined so as not to chaffe the sail itself

Main: 2 sets of Reef Points. Luff – 34’9” Foot – 13’ Leech – 36’ (head 5.5”) 254 sq ft
Mizzen: 1 set of reef points. Luff – 24’ Foot – 9’3” Leech – 24’6” (head 4.5”) 118 sq ft
Forestay: 1 set of reef points. Luff – 19’9” Foot – 8’3” Leech – 17’ 73 sq ft
Jib (This is a high clewed jib): Luff – 34” Foot – 13’6” Leech – 26’9” 166 sq ft
Genoa: Luff – 34’ Foot – 22’ Leech – 32’ 10.75” 353 sq ft

Hi Vic. Heres the deal: There are no hanks on the jibs or grommets on all the sails. There are not headboards either. I may have access to some reasonably priced bronze hanks. This allows you to adjust them to your boat. I have 2 forestay sail bags (a little dirty but never used) in cadet grey sunbrella and the main is in a bag made from sailcloth. These are included. I would take $6500 for the whole works. This barely covers the cost of materials. You can see a few pics and some of my other work (so you can determine the quality of my workmanship) on my website www.llsails.com and click on sails. ,

Let me know if you would like more information. I can also send you a phone number.
Thanks for the inquiry,

I read that if a wave approaches the size of your beam, then you may be toppled. But I think that frequency and shape of the wave matter too. In canoe hulls they talk about primary and secondary stability. My Bayfield is 29' with 10'2" beam; most ...
