I’d suppose that a 28" minimum Compass - Chart Plotter separation would be advisable, and more would be better.<br />
Twisting the power supply wires to the plotter will help some.<br />
Consult you compass & chart plotter manufacturers for specific detailed installation instruction.<br />

I don't know of any standard recommended distance electronics should be mounted from a compass. However if you mount the chartplotter close enough to the compass to create deviation (error) you can create a deviation table to compensate.<br />
